If you are an professional in the hospitality business who like responsibilities and freedom, then Small Wonders is the right place for you.
Our team exists out of a mix of nationalities, different disciplines, long and short term employees but we all have one thing in common which is a heart for hospitality.

In general the locations are run by a small teams of 3 to 4 persons who take care of the daily business, from setting the breakfast and preparing rooms till cooking and serving the delicious 3-course dinner. Multitasking, client friendly, dynamic and hardworking are few key elements you need to poses next to loving what you do.

We have a large group of guests who come back every year to our locations and who love to see familiar face. This allows us to offer more than just a seasonal job and gives you the change to work in different locations but for the same employer!

Chalet host

You are responsible of receiving your guests and making sure they have a great stay, making sure their rooms are well prepared for their arrival and serving them breakfast and dinner. Your main characteristics are:

  • Client friendly
  • Pressure resistant
  • An eye for detail
  • Multi lingual

Chalet chef

Serving your guests a sumptuous breakfast, homely baked cakes, local specialties and the delicious 3-course evening meal are the main task.
You have to be creative in setting up your own menu, catering for special dietaries and needs but also like the contact with the guests and being around them.
We give you the opportunity to work with local producers and visit them while doing your weekly shopping. Your main characteristics are:

All-rounder

In peak season time we need extra hands and as an all-round employee you get to see all facets of the company while giving a hand in the kitchen and rooms, doing small repairs, shopping or driving guests to the airport. It can be that you are needed in several locations throughout the year. Your main characteristics are:

  • Multi-tasking ability
  • You have a driver licence
  • Flexible

Back-office

Marketing, administration, management and sales al all thinks that happen behind the scenes and with more locations the team will slowly expend and be looking for specialist in one of these disciplines with their specific knowledge but your main characteristics are:

  • Auto didactic
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry
  • Creative
